Taking the Midea Thailand Smart Factory project as an example, China Unicom, in collaboration with Huawei and Thailand’s AIS, has created a benchmark project for 5G+AI cross-border joint operations. This project achieved comprehensive customized network coverage for a 160,000 square meter factory, deployed over 10 5G applications, increased factory operational efficiency by 15%-20%, and reduced rework rates by 75%. Additionally, China Unicom innovatively established a 5G clothing industry crowdsourcing collaborative cloud platform to streamline supply and demand sides, gathering small and micro enterprises under a “central factory” model, and using AI applications to accelerate China’s fast fashion “chain” to connect globally, achieving a win-win situation for multiple parties.
