This prestigious list recognises 30 individuals who have made significant strides in championing inclusion and gender equality across various sectors. These advocates play a crucial role in driving societal progress, as gender equality in business is fundamental to overall economic growth and social development.

The selection criteria focused on the nominees’ tangible impact, innovative approaches, and sustained commitment to advancing gender equality.
Join us in celebrating these advocates at The Novi Awards on 22nd November 2024, an event recognising women breaking barriers and shaping a more inclusive future of business.
Impact of Gender Inequality
Gender equality remains a pressing issue in the United Kingdom, with recent statistics highlighting the need for continued advocacy and action:
– Women in the UK earn on average 15.5% less than their male counterparts
– Despite making up 47% of the workforce, women hold only 34% of managerial positions
Novi and its advocates are actively working to address these disparities through targeted campaigns, mentorship programs, and policy advocacy aimed at closing the gender pay gap, increasing female representation in leadership roles, and supporting women’s advancement across various fields.
Griselda Togobo, Founder and CEO of Novi & The Novi Awards, said: “The Novi Advocates for Change in Gender Equality list shines a spotlight on the extraordinary efforts of individuals who are not only talking about gender equality but are actively working towards it. Their dedication and achievements are inspiring and critical to the progress we are making as a society.”
“These advocates serve as role models, demonstrating that real change is possible through persistent and impactful actions. By celebrating their contributions, we hope to encourage others to join the movement and continue pushing for a more equitable world.”
Lee Chambers, Founder and CEO of , said: “It is an honour to be recognised as a changemaker for gender equality. To be alongside so many executives who are leading the way and actively changing systems is a moment to remember in the relentless nature of this work. And while it’s not easy, moments like these remind us why we continue. We are looking forward to launching Male Allies UK and Zoom’s Holborn headquarters in October, to lead the change on allyship into 2025.”
