San Juan, P.R. – March 21, 2025 – Independent urban artist Castillo La Cone presents Fluyendo, his new album set to be released at the end of April. This groundbreaking project fuses reggaeton, dancehall, afrobeat, amapiano, electronic, and Caribbean rhythms. More than just an album, Fluyendo is a statement about life: embracing the present, letting go of control, and surrendering to whatever life has in store.
“This album reflects the past few years of my life. I’ve learned that love cannot be forced, that life is perfect as it is, and that we must flow with it,” says Castillo.
A Fresh and Limitless Sound
With Fluyendo, Castillo La Cone expands his sound without leaving behind his roots. While reggaeton remains a cornerstone of his music, the album explores new fusions with the energy and versatility that define him.
“This is my most experimental project. People know me for reggaeton, but music is about evolution, and here, I wanted to play with amapiano, house, and electronic music while staying true to my urban essence.”
Collaborations and Production Team
One of the most highly anticipated collaborations on the album is Adentro, featuring urban artist D-Enyel, known for his versatility in the genre.
“This track is an amapiano song we wrote together in Orlando, Florida, during a late-night session with Coronas. It’s one of those songs that are born at the perfect moment.”
Additionally, Fluyendo features production from industry heavyweights such as Side Effecto, Fayz Music, and Walde (producer of Brytiago and part of the hit Esclava).
A Story of Struggle and Authenticity
Beyond the music, Fluyendo emerges from a period of personal growth. Castillo shares that the creative process was marked by emotional challenges, including fighting to be present in his daughter’s life, the loss of his grandmother, and the journey of learning to love again.
“This album isn’t just music; it’s my life. These past years have been intense, teaching me to accept what life gives and takes away. Every song is based on real experiences.”
Release and Promotion
The album is set for release at the end of April, accompanied by a promotional strategy that includes interviews, tours, and special events. Since October, Castillo La Cone has taken his music to several Colombian cities, including Pereira, Armenia, Cali, and Medellín, with plans to continue his tour in Bogotá and Barranquilla.
Additionally, a special event is in the works for Guatapé, Colombia, where he will bring together artists from Puerto Rico and Colombia to celebrate urban talent.
Singles and Music Videos
Ahead of the album’s release, Castillo has already dropped two promotional singles: Sin Mí and Darte, both of which have been well received by audiences. Up next is the third single, No Pude, an electrifying guaracha—a genre that has taken over dance floors in Colombia and beyond.
“No Pude is full of energy. I love reggaeton, but I also love experimenting with sounds that make people move. Fluyendo is a limitless project, and this guaracha track is proof of that.”

The album has already attracted interest from major media outlets, and Castillo is excited about the prospect of his music crossing even more borders.
“Hearing my music in Medellín, walking through neighborhoods and listening to my songs in another country—it’s incredible. My inner child is proud of everything I’ve achieved.”
