Atlanta, GA – March 21, 2025 – The Navy Supply Corps Foundation (NSCF) is pleased to announce the launch of its 2025 Career Transition Seminars, a series of intensive three-day workshops designed to equip Navy Supply Corps Officers with the skills, strategies, and connections needed to navigate the transition from military service to the private sector.

Navy Supply Corps Foundation

Following the success of the 2024 pilot seminar, the Foundation has expanded the program to three days, adding a dedicated networking component that enables participants to connect directly with industry leaders, hiring managers, and fellow veterans who have successfully transitioned into civilian careers. These interactions aim to help officers establish meaningful relationships.

The 2025 Career Transition Leadership Seminars will take place in three major locations:

  • Norfolk: May 20-22

  • San Diego: July 22-24

  • Washington D.C./Mechanicsburg/Philadelphia Area: October 2025 (exactdates TBD)

A Holistic Approach to Career Transition

The seminar provides a comprehensive roadmap to civilian career success, helping attendees identify their strengths and align them with career opportunities. Through interactive workshops, peer collaboration, and one-on-one coaching, participants will gain practical tools and strategies for professional growth.

The seminar covers the following areas:

  • Identifying transferable skills: Helping participants recognize and effectively communicate how their military experience applies to civilian roles.

  • Enhancing professional branding: Providing expert guidance on optimizing résumés and LinkedIn profiles to align with industry expectations and attract potential employers.

  • Navigating salary negotiations: Preparing participants to evaluate job offers, negotiate compensation, and make informed career decisions.

  • Understanding corporate culture: Offering insights into workplace expectations, professional norms, and organizational structures across various industries.

  • Developing a transition roadmap: Creating a structured plan for career growth, ensuring a smooth shift from military service to a fulfilling civilian profession.

By integrating career coaching with real-world networking, the seminar ensures that officers leave with practical strategies and professional connections that extend beyond the event itself.

Positioning Veterans for Success

The Navy Supply Corps Foundation has long been committed to supporting officers throughout their careers, and these transition seminars are a vital part of that mission. The expanded format reinforces the Foundation’s focus on self-awareness, strategic career positioning, and professional networking, helping participants make informed career choices that align with their skills and goals.

Many veterans struggle with translating their military experience into civilian terms or finding careers that match their expertise. This seminar addresses those challenges by bridging the gap between military service and private-sector opportunities. Attendees will leave with a clear transition strategy, a refined professional brand, and key industry connections to facilitate their next career move.
