The 3rd Tianjin International Shipping Industry Expo, themed “Shipping to the World and Navigating Towards the Future,” will be held at the National Convention & Exhibition Center (Tianjin) from June 12 to 14.

As one of the world’s largest and most comprehensive exhibitions in the shipping industry, this year’s expo will focus on the intelligent, green, and international development of the sector. Besides, it aims to serve as a high-end platform for boosting international cooperation and showcasing innovation achievements in shipping.

Covering a total booth area of 50,000 square meters, the event will feature four exhibition halls, nine indoor exhibition zones, and one outdoor exhibition zone. Reaching the entire industry chain, including international ports, shipping equipment, and green and smart shipping, the expo will attract over 600 top global shipping companies and is expected to draw the participation of more than 60,000 professionals.

Meanwhile, the expo will serve as a platform for fostering international exchange and collaboration. A total of 17 professional activities will be held during the expo, including the China (Dongjiang) Shipping Industry Week, the Second Work Meeting on China-Singapore Green & Digital Shipping Corridor Construction, and the Manganese Industry Development Conference. These events will facilitate economic and trade ties, bringing together experts and representatives from renowned global shipping companies and research institutions to explore business opportunities.

Furthermore, to promote public interest in the shipping industry, the expo will launch open events to the public, where visitors can have various interactive experiences to discover how shipping has become a part of urban life.

As the world is going through a green and digital transition, the shipping industry is embracing new opportunities. Tianjin has successfully hosted two sessions of the expo, attracting nearly 500 leading companies, industry associations, and renowned ports from 22 countries and regions. The expo showcased industry advancements and facilitated contracting of a bunch of cooperative projects.

The 3rd Tianjin International Shipping Industry Expo is co-hosted by Tianjin Municipal Transportation Commission, Tianjin Commission of Commerce, Tianjin Development and Reform Commission, and other relevant departments, and co-organized by Tianjin Port Group and other industry associations.
