About the Author:
Leo Stafford was born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. However, Leo spent most of his childhood growing up in a small town in northern California. When Leo was fourteen, he took a summer job working for a fishing guide at Bucks Lake, California—a job that, although young, would deeply shape his future. Many interesting, well-educated, and wealthy people would come to his workplace while he was there, Bucks Lake, and those relationships would remain an influence in his life.
Stafford is a journeyman carpenter and BS degree holder who has lived and worked in eight states and five foreign countries. He has spent much of his career working in remote construction camps, including locations north of the Arctic Circle on two separate continents.
A lover of words and music, Stafford penned his first song poem when he was fourteen years old; an interest that has remained an important part of his life. Stafford lives in Nevada and splits his time between Nevada and Texas. Stafford is a father of four children, a grandfather of ten grandchildren, and a great-grandfather of five great-grandchildren.
