Boston, MA – DJs For A Cause is proud to announce “Who Runs The World? Girls!”, an electrifying event on International Women’s Day, dedicated to celebrating and empowering women, while raising funds for Rosie’s Place, a sanctuary for poor and homeless women in the Boston area. This inspiring night will take place on March 8, 2025, at Bootleg Special, 400 Tremont Street, Boston, MA.
In the context of the broader push for gender equality, this multi-faceted event will bring together an incredible lineup of female leaders, entrepreneurs, and entertainers. They will tackle trending topics like gender equality in entrepreneurship, succeeding in male-dominated industries, and the role of supportive men in helping them achieve their goals.It promises to be wonderful event to experience networking, music, and philanthropy.The event chairs include Amanda O’Grady, owner of Prime Realty Group, Alexandra Goresh, owner of Petalouda Salon, and Giavanna Silva, CEO and founder of Haus by Giavanna and PowerHaus Women. The committee also includes Joel Jacquez, Vice President, Senior Program Officer at M&T Charitable Foundation and Natalie Carey, a prominent social media professional in the Boston EDM entertainment scene.
“We are so excited to have this event for Rosie’s Place and to be able to create an all-inclusive event for women and men who support women to network, collaborate, and also have fun. It’s an event I want my daughter to be proud of,” notes Dennis Franczak, founder of DJs For A Cause.
7:00 PM – Power Hour Networking Session: Curated by PowerHaus Women, this intimate networking opportunity will connect attendees with sponsors and fellow change makers from a number of industries and backgrounds.
8:00 PM – General Admission Opens: A dynamic program featuring a panel discussion with female business leaders, guest speakers, a live auction, and raffle prizes.
9:00 – 10:00 PM – Special Performances: Live entertainment from talented female musicians and vocalists, including Adriana DeMoura from the Real Housewives of Miami.
10:00 PM – Close – Dance Party!: Three of the top women DJs in the country (Deja, JUJU, and Morgan) will take over the decks, ensuring the night ends on a high-energy note.
Supporting Rosie’s Place
Proceeds from “Who Runs The World? Girls!” will benefit Rosie’s Place (www.rosiesplace.org), a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing shelter, meals, and critical support services to homeless and low-income women in the Boston area. By attending this event, guests will not only celebrate women’s achievements but also contribute to a meaningful cause.
