New York – Nov 15, 2024 – Dr. Sabrina Ho, distinguished philanthropist and champion of gender equality, reinforced her commitment to global peace and justice during a live televised signing ceremony, where she contributed $100,000 to the AFS Fund for Global Peace and Justice. In an inspiring moment, she spontaneously drew the letter “S” while signing, symbolizing her enduring dedication to social justice.
Speaking during the event, Dr. Ho delivered an impassioned call to action:
“Hello everyone,
The AFS-SHF initiative is a joint partnership for Co-championships. The global initiative is now open for applications. My way to define multilateralism is to create one. The global initiative of this Centenary, more than 80 countries and 3000 global alumni has now reached to start. This is your call to action, young leaders — step up, stand out, and join us!
Our world is at a crossroads, demanding bold change. We must adapt, renew, and transform. The clock is ticking, and it’s time to harness our momentum and reshape our future!
We are the catalysts of history. The choices we make today will resonate for generations. Together, we champion peace and justice as the foundation for tomorrow.
At the UN, we confront challenges head-on — because every decision counts. Together, we will create a future worth striving for — one worth living for.
Let’s prioritize our planet, accelerate digital progress, and uphold human rights, especially for girls. Every child deserves dignity and access to quality education.
To every young female leader: your voice is essential! Stand tall! This is our moment. A century ago, it was said, ‘He who gives also serves.’ Now, as co-champions, we envision a future where ‘She who gives, also serves’ — side by side with him, as a united team for our globe.

Dr. Ho, a passionate advocate for girls’ education, highlighted the vital need to address gender inequality, adding, “Social justice begins with the education of girls. Only when women and girls have equal access to education can we begin to create the equitable systems that will drive lasting peace.”
The newly established AFS Fund for Global Peace and Justice, supported by Dr. Ho’s generosity, will equip young leaders with the skills to confront global challenges. The fund will initially provide scholarships and sponsorships for participation in the AFS Youth Assembly and will expand to include other initiatives aimed at fostering intercultural exchange and peace.
