LOS ANGELES – November 8, 2024 – Wyomi Reed, the noted multidisciplinary creative, actor and writer, today announced that she has signed with Sovereign Talent Group for representation across all phases of the entertainment industry. Reed will now be represented by Sovereign’s Nancy Moon-Broadstreet and Peter Young, as well as by her Manager, Tonja René Hartman at Citizen Skull.

Originally from Toronto, Canada, Reed now lives and works in Los Angeles. She is best known for her role in The Trade, Confessions of An American Bride, and Parable. Other notable credits include appearances in Top Gun, Maverick, Spiderhead, and Blood Star. Reed is also gaining renown as a visionary film and television writer and creative director.

“I am very excited about my new management and team,” said Reed. “We are looking forward to pitching new projects and being involved in creative work in film, TV, print, and online media.” Reed was previously signed with NEXT Worldwide Management, where, for almost ten years, she worked with clients at Burberry, Elle, L’Officiel and Balmain, both in front and behind the camera.

Wyomi Reed stars in her latest film ‘Blood Star’ (2024) A dark survival thriller directed by Lawrence Jacomelli about a young pick-pocketer driving cross country when she becomes a target by a small-town Sheriff. A deadly game of cat-and-mouse where she must use her street-smarts to survive.

She also has recently starred in Parable (2024) a film by Ritchey Cable.

Reed began her studies at Toronto’s prestigious TheArmstrong Acting Academy, where she trained for four years before signing with NEXT Worldwide. She recently became an alumni at Baron Brown Acting Studios, where she joins the likes of Halle Berry, Robin Wright, Patrick Dempsey and Tom Hanks.

Established by Peter Young in 2008, LosAngeles-based Sovereign Talent Group is a global agency known for branding and booking unique talent for commercials, products, television pilots, music videos, and feature films.
