A.U.Fire (Accuracy Under Fire) is thrilled to announce that the Georgia Public Safety Training Center (GPSTC) in Forsyth, Georgia, has purchased 48 of its training kits for integration into their 2025 reality-based training programs.
A.U.Fire provides realistic tactical training for law enforcement agencies that prepares them for the reality of field work under pressure. Using wearable, muscle-contracting sleeves that simulate realistic wound effects, A.U.Fire immerses officers in high-stress, real-world scenarios. Instructors control the system remotely, triggering simulated injuries in trainees’ arms during one-on-one training scenarios or use-of-force scenarios on a training simulator. Officers learn how to remain composed while problem-solving and maintaining tactical precision under intense pressure. This enables officers to respond confidently in crises, benefiting them and the community they serve.
According to Ara Baronian, division director at Basic Academy, said, “The Georgia Public Safety Training Center is committed to providing law enforcement officers with top-tier training. Through realistic scenario-based training, our goal is to ensure the first time an officer experiences a stress-inducing incident occurs in a safe, controlled training environment, instead of on the street where the outcome is rapidly evolving and unpredictable. We will introduce the A.U.FIRE Training System to provide our students with increased realism by making our scenario-based training more immersive and dynamic. A.U.FIRE will allow us to take training to a new level of realism, helping us give law enforcement officers every chance at success and survival, a critical part of our mission.”
According to A.U.Fire founder and president Tim Pearce, “We are honored to know that GSPTC is providing their officers with training that will truly prepare them for the field. As they integrate A.U.Fire stress inoculation training, the GSPTC trainers will help further develop calm, confident officers who can make better judgment calls under pressure.”
Rick Guilbault, vice president at A.U.Fire, noted, “The quality of training that GPSTC has committed to empowering its officers with should be an inspiration to other departments across the country. We are proud that A.U.Fire technology can be a part of this.”
