The International School of Skin, Nailcare & Massage Therapy (ISSNMT) is launching a new Phlebotomy Program on December 13th. This 8-week program combines hands-on training and coursework in anatomy, laboratory practices, phlebotomy techniques, and emergency procedures. Available in both day and evening classes, it prepares students for successful careers as certified phlebotomists. ISSNMT also offers programs in skincare, massage therapy, nailcare, and cosmetology.

Sandy Springs, GA – November 28, 2024 – The International School of Skin, Nailcare & Massage Therapy (ISSNMT) proudly announces the launch of its new Phlebotomy Program, designed to prepare aspiring healthcare professionals for rewarding careers in phlebotomy. Starting on December 13th, this program combines hands-on training with comprehensive coursework to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to excel as certified phlebotomists.

Empowering Students with Essential Healthcare Skills

Phlebotomists play a crucial role in healthcare by drawing and handling blood for medical testing, transfusions, and research. The ISSNMT Phlebotomy Program offers students a well-rounded curriculum that includes:

  • Anatomy and Physiology to understand the human body.
  • Laboratory Practices and safety procedures.
  • Phlebotomy Techniques, including venipuncture and specimen handling.
  • Medical Terminology is essential for interacting with healthcare professionals.
  • Emergency Situations and CPR Training to prepare for critical moments.

The program’s 88 clock hours are spread across an 8-week schedule, available in both day and evening classes to accommodate busy lifestyles. Students will attend 11-12 hours weekly, with day classes on Sundays and Mondays (9 AM – 2:30 PM) or evening classes on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays (5 PM – 9 PM).

To enroll, students must pay a non-refundable registration fee of $100, with tuition fees at $1,705 and textbooks costing $145, for a total of $1,950. While financial aid is not available, the program’s cost reflects its commitment to delivering top-tier, career-focused education.
